Fresh Haven publishes source-linked product profiles and general editorial guidance. Official product facts are collected automatically from brand pages. We do not claim hands-on testing, laboratory testing, veterinary review, or another professional review.

Source-captured fact
A value shown as captured has an official URL, capture time, content hash, reproducible locator, and short evidence excerpt.
Unknown stays unknown
Not stated, conflicting, not applicable, and source unavailable are visible states. None is converted into a favorable product claim.
Internal matching rule
Rules may organize search and Finder results, but they are not displayed as manufacturer facts, test scores, or safety conclusions.
How product facts move through the site
The collector saves an immutable source capture before producing normalized facts. Automated validation checks product identity, allowed brand domains, evidence references, status values, and field shape before a fact record can enter the publishable layer.
The collector does not use a CAPTCHA bypass, login workaround, or proxy fallback. A blocked, unavailable, or ambiguous source becomes an explicit status; the product page remains available without pretending that missing information was confirmed.
What a product profile can say
Public specification rows use only source-captured values. Missing materials, care directions, sound features, food use, flotation, supervision language, guarantees, warnings, and retirement guidance remain visibly unresolved. Variant labels appear only when captured, and missing dimensions are not inferred.
General first-session checks are presented separately from product-specific facts. They are not proof that one toy is safe, quiet, durable, easy to clean, or appropriate for unattended use.
Guides and breed pages
Guides may explain a decision process and breed pages may offer general editorial context. Product-specific statements inside those pages must still come from the source-captured product record. Breed, age, and category labels never replace evaluation of the individual dog.
Product links and commercial disclosure
Purchase buttons link only to an exact official brand page that passed the current source check. Fresh Haven does not show retailer searches, live prices, stock claims, customer ratings, or paid ranking. A missing or unavailable official page disables the purchase call to action without removing the product profile.
Corrections and source changes
Product pages show when their source was captured. A later capture creates a new immutable evidence run; it does not rewrite the old record. Changed, conflicting, or missing official information is reflected in the field status and the publishable facts are rebuilt only after automated validation succeeds.
